Maintent activiteiten en console informatie

Vandaag kondigen we aan wat we allemaal in petto hebben qua maintent activiteiten en consoles. We hebben de activiteiten samen met de datum en het tijdstip neergezet. Houd er aub even rekening mee dat dit nog gewijzigd kan worden. Nou, laten we maar eens een kijkje nemen!

Consoles:
Dit jaar hebben we besloten om de Wii even een jaartje achterwege te laten. Op ons vorige evenement, The Party, werd er serieus niet op gespeeld. Alle aandacht ging daar naar de Xbox 360’s, dus deze consoles gebruiken we. Wie weet komen er ook nog een aantal PlayStation 3’s te staan, maar dat kunnen we nog niet bevestigen. Binnenkort hebben we meer speelbare titels, maar hieronder staan er alvast zes.

Anime Night (Vrijdag 29-07, 20:30) :
Vorig jaar organiseerden we onze eerste Anime Night, en we kregen nog aardig wat lame reacties op onze filmkeuze. Hopelijk hebben we dit jaar een betere keus gemaakt. Ken je de Professor Layton serie voor de Nintendo DS? Het is persoonlijk één van onze favoriete game series op de handheld van Nintendo, en we waren dan ook erg blij toen er een film van uitkwam. De film is gemaakt door de mensen die ook de cutscenes in de games maken. Mocht je dus al van plan zijn om deze animefilm te gaan kijken, kijk hem dan gezellig met je vrienden in de maintent op de eerste vrijdag van CampZone.

Bingo (Zaterdag 30-07, 20:30) :
Het is weer tijd voor je favoriete bingospelletje van het jaar: de CampZone Bingo! De eerste zaterdag van CampZone gaan we weer onwijs veel leuke prijzen weggeven, want dan organiseren we onze derde Bingo avond. Wat er zo tof is aan Bingo? Winnen, maar ook het gezellig samen zijn. Alle coole mensen op CampZone zijn deze avond in de maintent te vinden om cijfertjes af te strepen, dus jij mag niet achterblijven. Wat er te winnen valt? Veel! Game gerelateerde T-shirts, goodies, volledige games voor de PC en de consoles, Blu-Ray films, hardware, energy drink… Wanneer je Bingo hebt, kies je je eigen prijs uit. Als kers op de taart hebben we ook een aantal onwijs vette goodiebags met daarin de tofste shizzle voor de mazzelaars die hun kaart volkrijgen. Op CampZone veranderen we Bingo van een bejaardenactiviteit naar iets moderns!

TV Tunes Compo (Zondag 31-07, 20:30) :
Kun jij je al die hippe muziekjes uit tekenfilmpjes van vroeger nog herinneren? Nou, dan hopen wij dat je nog zo’n goed geheugen hebt, dat je er een competitie mee kunt spelen. Op de eerste zondag is het namelijk tijd voor één van de grappigste competities van CampZone, maar dat wil niet zeggen dat we het makkelijk maken voor je. Naarmate de competitie vordert, worden de muziekjes steeds korter. Hierdoor is het raden van de TV tunes moeilijker dan ooit! Als CampZoner moet je de TV Tunes Compo minimaal vijf keer meemaken. Jup, je hoort het goed.

FIFA 11 (Maandag 01-08, 20:30) :
Vorig jaar organiseerden we onze eerste FIFA competitie. Deze competitie duurde ongeveer drie á vier uur, maar toch hebben we besloten om weer een voetbalavondje te organiseren. Geen 2010 FIFA World Cup dit keer, maar FIFA 11. We spelen een 1-vs-1 competitie. Wij nemen het spel mee, jullie het bier! O, en we hebben de competitie hopelijk wat korter gemaakt dit keer.

Mortal Kombat (Dinsdag 02-08, 20:30) :
De doorgezomerde 1337 veteraan CampZoner kent misschien nog wel de tijden waarin we Soul Calibur II competities organiseerden. Nou, Mortal Kombat is misschien geen Soul Calibur, maar het is wel net zo goed een kick-ass vechtspel dat we gewoon moeten spelen. Na vele jaren is Mortal Kombat namelijk eindelijk teruggekeerd naar hoe het hoort: veel bloed en een hoop knakkende ruggetjes. Finish him!

Guitar Hero (Donderdag 04-08, 20:30) :
Als franchise zijnde staat Guitar Hero momenteel even stil. Dit betekent dat dit weleens de laatste Guitar Hero competitie kan zijn waarin we gebruik maken van een recent verschenen Guitar Hero game. Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock kwam eind 2010 uit. Klaar om te rocken? Wij wel! O, met rocken bedoelen we dus wel echt ROCKEN. Mensen die alleen Easy, Medium of Hard aankunnen zijn niet welkom! Experts only!

SingStar (Friday 05-08, 20:30) :
Onze favoriete karaoke avond van het jaar is terug van weggeweest! Het is weer hoog tijd om die gouden keeltjes eens te horen. In deze 1-vs-1 competitie zing je een nummer tegen een ander. Het uitkiezen van het nummer duurt normaal altijd het langst. Om dit te voorkomen zullen we een lijst met beschikbare nummers online zetten, zodat deelnemers hun voorkeuren achter kunnen laten in de reacties. We zijn wel nog aan het bedenken of we PlayStation 2- of PlayStation 3 versies gaan gebruiken. Wat heeft jouw voorkeur?

Binnenkort worden ook de PC competities en de buiten activiteiten bekend gemaakt.

Today we announce our maintent activitities and all the information we have about the consoles in the maintent. We announce the activities along with their dates, but it’s quite possible that these dates will change. Let’s start with our maintent program for this year!

Consoles:
This year we have decided to leave the Wii out of the picture. We’ve made this decision because literally no one played on the Wii at The Party, our April lanparty event. Our Xbox 360′s were being played most of the time, so we’ll stick with those for now and maybe we will place some PlayStation 3 consoles in the maintent as well. More playable titles will be announced soon, but for now we can already confirm six titles.

Anime Night (Friday 29-07, 20:30) :
Last year we organized our first Anime Night. Some of you informed us the movie wasn’t that great, so this year we found a movie that hopefully more people will enjoy. Do you know the Professor Layton game series for the Nintendo DS? It’s personally one of our favorite games on Nintendo’s handheld console. A feature film was made by the cutscene animators and that’s the movie that we are going to watch. So if you already planned on watching Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva, please watch it with us in the maintent on Friday the 29th of July.

Bingo (Saturday 30-07, 20:30) :
It’s your favorite bingo of the year: the CampZone bingo! The first Saturday at CampZone we will organize our Bingo Night for the third time. What’s fun about Bingo? Well, winning of course, but also the social aspect. All the cool people at CampZone attend the Bingo Night, so you just can’t miss this activity. So, what’s there to win? A lot! Game related T-shirts, goodies, full games for PC and consoles, Blu-Ray movies, hardware, energy drink… When you score a Bingo, you choose your own price. We also make a few big-ass goodiebags containing some really good stuff for the lucky full-card-Bingo-people. At CampZone, we change the Bingo game from a game for the elderly to something everyone can enjoy!

TV Tunes Compo (Sunday 31-07, 20:30) :
Do you still remember all those awesome cartoons from when you were a child? Hopefully you remember them good enough, because we play a competition with the theme songs of these cartoons on the first Sunday. It’s one of the funniëst compo’s at CampZone, but that doesn’t mean that we’re making it easy for you. No, towards the end of the competition, the music will play for a shorter time. The TV Tunes Compo is a competition that every CampZoner should attend at least five times. Yes! Five times!

FIFA 11 (Monday 01-08, 20:30) :
Last year we finally organized our first FIFA competition. It lasted for about three or four hours, but we’ve still decided to do another soccernight this year. No 2010 FIFA World Cup this time though. No, we play FIFA 11 this year in a 1-vs-1 competition. We bring the game, you guys bring the beer.

Mortal Kombat (Tuesday 02-08, 20:30) :
The 1337 veteran CampZoners should remember the times where Soul Calibur II was still popular. Well, Mortal Kombat isn’t Soul Calibur obviously, but Mortal Kombat is also a kick-ass Fighting Game that we should play. After many years Mortal Kombat finally has returned to it’s roots; a lot of blood and a lot of cracking spines. Finish him!

Guitar Hero (Thursday 04-08, 20:30) :
As a franchise, Guitar Hero is ‘on hold’ for the moment. That means that this may be the last year that we play a Guitar Hero competition with a recent version of the franchise. Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock came out at the end of 2010. Are you still ready to rock? Well, we are! And with rocking, we mean ROCKING. Stay away when you can only play at Easy, Medium or Hard, because with this competition we mean business. Experts only!

SingStar (Friday 05-08, 20:30) :
Our most loved karaoke night of the year is back! It’s time to hear those beautiful voices again. In this 1-vs-1 competition you compete with another on a song that you both agree on. To make the song choosing a bit shorter, we will put a list with the available songs online. All registered singers and singorita’s should list the songs they know, so that we can skip most of the waiting part. We’re still deciding if we’re going to use some of the PlayStation 2 versions or some of the PlayStation 3 versions. What do you think?
